Five Things Friday

Five things I did;

1. Unfortunately my MIL ended up in the hospital again after being home for 8 days. It was adventure to say the least.

2. After being awake for about 32 hours straight; I crashed hard and slept for a straight 12 hours and 11 minutes. It was glorious.

3. My brother had his 8th grade orchestra concert! His last Middle School concert. I can't believe he is going into High School.

4. We bought a new recliner at the surplus store for $35! It's super comfy and we have been wanting one for awhile!

5. I went to Cedar Point and it was awesome! I used to go every single year in middle and high school.

Five things I ate:

1. On our way to visit my in-laws we stopped at Lances Bakery for some doughnuts. We bought a bakers dozen and shared them with everyone we ran into on our adventures.

2. I made tacos. So simple; but quick, easy and delicious.

3. Even though it was pretty warm, I made black bean and lentil soup.

4. Cedar Point unhealthy foods. You're walking a lot, so it's okay - right?

5. I am currently obsessed with kettle cooked chips - specifically the flavor sea salt and cracked pepper. It's a problem.

Five things I read:

2. Bone Gap by Laura Ruby
This book got weird near the end up until that point it was a pretty good story. I gave it 3 stars.

5. The lives between us by Theresa Rizzo
full review on this one coming up in a few weeks!

As per usual, I am going to be linking with Fitting It All In and her Five Things Friday. I am also going to be at the High Five for Friday link up over at Coffee with CaitlinCup of TeaBright on a budget and Della Devoted

  1. So sorry to hear your MIL was back in the hospital. Hopefully she's on the road to recovery now. And YES!!! Cedar Point! I grew up in Columbus so Cedar Point was a regular visit. The best amusement park. I'm a little jealous you got to go :) Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
