Review | Little Moments App by Fat Mum Slim

One of my favorite bloggers has launched her very own app! *applause* It is a photo editing app, and it is meshed in with her photo a day challenge -- but if you don't participate in the challenge it is still just a great app for editing photos! It costs $1.99 off the bat, with some in-app purchases if you want them. This app was launched on Friday June 27th, so I have had a few days to play around with it -- but I am no expert! For now, this app is only available on iPhone, but I believe Chantelle is wanting to have it available on android eventually. This is just a brief overview and all opinions are my own!

When you open the app, the home page looks like this:

1. Camera.  This will just lead you to your camera, pretty self-explanatory!

2. Photos. This is where you will edit your photos. Click on this and it will take you to the photos saved on your camera. Pick one and let's get to work! 

There are 3 options down at the bottom. The little wand is all the different filters, with super fun names like sugar, Popsicle and sunshine! 

The T icon will lead you to adding some text! There a bunch of cute fonts, and an in-app purchase for some additional if that is your jam.

The + is what you click to add more text, then the circles of color are where you can change the color of your text, the Aa is where the fun fonts are hidden and the last icon helps you adjust the opacity of the text. It is super easy to adjust the size and position of the text.

So once you have added the text you desire, click the word text down at the bottom and it will take you back to the main editing page. 

The 3rd icon will enable you to add fun and inspirational quotes to your photo.

Once you do that, you are able to adjust the size, color and opacity of the quote!

Then, on the main editing page, the last icon (it looks like a flower!) allows you to add some fun designs and doodles!

You can adjust the position, size, color and opacity of this as well! 

Then your photo is ready to share or save! Click the save button on the top right hand side and then your options will await you!

1. This will share your photo to Instagram, automatically inserting the daily prompt for photo a day and hashtags for this app. If your photo has nothing to do with the challenge, you can simply erase it and carry on with your own caption.

2. This will save your photo to your camera roll.

3. This will share your photo to Facebook, doing the whole inserting of the hashtags and prompt thing again.

4. You can now make your awesome photos into a fun phone case! This will lead you through how to do so!

5. This will share your photo to Twitter, inserting hashtags again for you.

6. This will give you more options such as email, message, open in and copy.

Now back to the homepage!

3. Prompts. This is for the photo a day-ers out there. You click this and it leads you to here:

It is the entire month of prompts, and you can click each individual day to get a more detailed idea. This also rocks, cause you can get notifications right to your phone! So no more excuses about forgetting what the prompt was! You are also able to look in the past to see previous months prompts.

4. About. This is where you can turn the daily prompts on or off.

5. Fab Four. Everyday Fat Mum Slim (or one of her chosen ones) will pick their favorite 4 photos from the daily prompt and share it on social media. It's great to see what catches people's eyes and how others intrepret the prompts.

I LOVE this app, I give it a loud and enthusiastic 5/5 stars! I can't wait to start fresh in July with the photo a day challenge!!
